Several of the songs I have written over the years are based on personal experiences and challenges I have faced.  Throughout those times there were many messages from prophets and church leaders that helped me get through those difficulties and move forward.  A few years ago, after talking with my dad about some of these challenges, he commented that I should write a book.  When he said that, an idea immediately came to my mind of how the book should be laid out.  It's basically a similar format to "The Forgotten Carols" where each chapter is followed by a song I wrote that coincides with the contents of the chapter.  With the idea in mind, I got to work on writing (and re-writing) the chapters, but with four children and being in graduate school, it was a work in progress for a long time.  But it is finally ready!  I have both digital and paperback versions available.  My hope is that by sharing my experiences, it can help even one person going through similar challenges.
