I also enjoy making recordings of songs written by others (I play the piano and violin). Most of these I did in 2003-2005 with an old Roland Mixer - I only had 8 tracks to work with and 30 minutes of total recording time. So if there are mistakes it's because I ran out of recording time... ;) Thankfully in 2012 I finally got new recording equipment. I can record basically unlimited tracks and I can do all the editing on the computer - so much easier and so many more possibilities!
